So here lies the worry. I see many photographers (mainly females) who do their own portraits of themselves. I have kicked it around myself to see if I can tackle this challenge as well. But, I am afraid, because I for one get nervous in front of a camera (go figure... ) I see many that turn out awesome from friends and other people but what I am confused about is.. is it even worth doing? Will it help me at all with improving my style of photography? I mainly want to shoot animals and landscapes but I do want to try people as well. So my fiance had an idea to put out photography out there. (Close friends and family) He threw out an idea of a calender with the photos we had taken. We have been kicking the idea around to start a little project to see if we can sell our photography. But we are both a little conscious because its hard to get people to by your photographs when you do not know how to advertise or sell your work. Jon and I decided that going with a calender would be the best way to show some of our work and it would be an easy way to advertise by giving it away as a gift to loved ones.
